Shelton Students Selected for Global Chinese International Student Gala for Three Consecutive Years
The annual Global Chinese International Student Gala is a grand stage for overseas Chinese students, bringing together passion and talent from around the world. This year, a student from Shelton College International has once again been featured in the event's promotional video, shining as a star among Chinese international students in Singapore!
His calligraphy performance demonstrates fluid and powerful strokes, vividly showcasing the beauty of Chinese characters. His Tai Chi movements blend strength and grace, reflecting the profound heritage of Chinese martial arts. Meanwhile, his nunchaku performance is dynamic and full of energy, embodying the spirit and passion of Chinese kung fu. These outstanding displays of traditional culture highlight his deep love and dedication to Chinese heritage.
In the 2022 Global Chinese International Student Gala, 33 performances from universities worldwide were featured. Among them, Shelton College International’s student performance received high praise. The martial arts performance "Treading Mountains and Rivers", was independently choreographed, filmed, and produced by students from Shelton’s Performing Arts program, stood out among numerous high-caliber entries and won the Excellence Award, proudly representing Chinese international students in Singapore.
