IN December, Shelton’s Film Production students, led by their teachers, participated in the Christmas Carnival organised by Care Corner for low-income families in Singapore.
Shelton’s students were responsible for shooting and editing photos and videos to capture the moments of the carnival. These visuals were sent to the event organisers, partners, sponsors and participating families as a precious reminder of this special Christmas experience.
Mainstream media in Singapore, such as The Straits Times, also used the photos taken by Shelton’s students as their news covers.
Doing good for the community is one of Shelton’s traditions. In this charity event, the students also demonstrated their sense of social responsibility through practical actions. This collaborative approach not only allows students to experience practical work and teamwork, but also contributes to the community.
